Mindomo
Mindomo is a mind mapping tool used to allow teachers to organize their thoughts and information into a web chart. This is similar to a brainstorming method that gathers whole information and breaks them down for a much more easier understanding. This online resource brings students' ideas together to solve problems in a creative way through collaboration.
I thought it was pretty simple. All you have to do is create a main idea topic through the tabs and there will be arrows to allow you to branch out more ideas in subtopics. There are different theme layouts, smiley icons, text font color, multimedia including audio input, and comment input. Although, it is not very interesting for students to look at, because of the many topics ad branches that can be too overwhelming

Interesting. I see you get 3 maps for free and then it's a paid account. FYI- I use Google Drawings (available in your Docs) for this purpose.
ReplyDeleteThis is your first complete post where I get an idea of what the application is and what you think about it. I've caught on to the Gummy Bears now also.
